Hey guys, quick question. Where would I mount the UEGO on the stock exhaust system? I don't want to upgrade to aftermarket header if I may go turbo in the future. Just wondering where the bung would get welded in. Thanks for the help.

On the dp before the cat.
I took my off my car and brought it to a muffler shop. I put the bung on the side that faces toward the driver's side of the car. $15 out the door.

OK, thanks. How much did the gaskets run you to hook it back up? Or did you just re-use?

Re-use. I didn't have any problems.

.....or you plug the UEGO into the factory bung and hang your stock O2 somewhere underneath. Fools the computer into thinking the factory one is working and don't have to cut, weld, nothing. Oh, you have to cut a wire or two on the OEM O2 sensor. I think the heat circuit remains. That's how mine got done by Philly938 from RLF.

one thing to remember here is that if you look at your exhaust pipe like a clock, you want to have the bung welded somewhere between 9 & 3 (going clockwise) so that moisture does not collect on it. this is usually in the instructions for wbo2 installs, but i thought i'd point it out. if moisture collects, and you start the car (esp in cold climates) you can crack the sensor and then u have to get a new one (about $60 for the bosch)

Yeah, I think the instructions say to mount it at an angle. All I have to do now is find one for sale, used. They had a few for sale on .net but one got sold and the other one is pending. I'll find one eventually.

Wideband. There is one for sale on .net, it's pending to another member right now but I may end up taking it since the guy hasn't responded to PM's.

Well, I'm getting everything put on this Friday. I wanted to pre-run the wires but it's been raining and I don't want to roll around with open connections on things.
