Diamond Piston assembly questions

Ok, this is new for me so bare with me. I believe I installed the new rings correctly but Id like a second opinion

For one the expander seems to be overlapping?

I realize that the new rings will stick out more than the stock ones because they havent been compressed for 4 years but I'm being paranoid as I dont want to tear this back apart.

I did check the gaps on the top 2 rings in the cyl wall with a gap tool and they are good. I'm curious about the 3 piece oil control rings as they say not to modify these? :shrug:

the gap is fine on the top and 2nd rings but the thin rings of the 3 piece oil control rings have a larger gap than what is allowed for the top 2, not sure if they are all supposed to be in within the same gap?

Cams were going to be upgraded but money became an issue so no go there.

I gotcha. Well, Id let Dylan know (DW2B22) as its his car in my garage while he is in Iraq, but what Im trying to do know is about to drive me batty. =)
