hi guys.

ok im new here. got an m45 on a JRSC for my 93 civic ferio...

any way i ran bearings on the motor and now im doing a full rebuild. and this is where you guys can help me out.

first what is the max rotor RPM that i can do safely with the M45?
coz my crank pulley is 6" and the sc pulley is 3.6" at 8200rpm = 13666RPM and i hear that the safe max is 14000. now with the pulley setup i have im only boosting .3 bar (4.4psi)(at 6000ft above sea level) and i was hoping for closer to 8 to 10 psi. what can i do to get it there?

after pulling the rotors out of the housing i saw the teflon coating had started to flack off. so i removed it all now. i want to get it coated again. here in SA im thinking of getting it done in a Dry Film Lubricant Coating (TLML) from Products (http://www.powerkote.co.za/Products.html). do you guys think that will work?

next is the housing it has some wear on it.

thanks for all the help

i can't really speak to the hardware part, but as far as boost goes if you're wanting 8-10PSI at 6000ft you need a hell of a lot of boost. Getting 4.4 at that altitude pretty much puts you near the 8-10 range at sea level. IIRC, on my procharged setup I was getting ~7 in Denver, CO (5700ft) and near 12psi back at my home in Minnesota (800ft)

just spoke to my tuner about this he says its not a problem.

so i solved the one promblem going to put a 3.1" pulley on the SC and limit the redline to 7500rpm. giving me 14500 odd rotor rpm.

now that housing... help.....please

The case is fine. It's simple scoring from the rotors. I have worse scoring than that on my M90 and make 17psi in my car. I suggest porting the inlet before putting the blower on your car, it will make a substantial gain.

do you having any pic of what a ported inlet looks like. well for that matter where and how to grind/port the housing.
