Ok, so I'm not gonna ask the silly question of what does everyone think I should do. I'm gonna pinch pennies to get the Vibrant 4-2-1 header and cat combo and add the Magnaflow 2.5" after cat system. I should have all the money together to put that on after I get back from Korea Jan '09. I'm just curious if anyone knows where the best deals are on these sets?

Will it help out at all to get a little tuning done to maximize the effectiveness of these? I also am going to get nherbst454 to make me a 2.85 pulley. Is that gonna need some tuning too? I PM'd him but no answer yet.

after changing the exhaust i would get tuned. My next mod will be the zzp or vibrant header/dp and exhaust. I will definitely get tuned afterwards as I think it will be beneficial

Why the ZZP over the Vibrant? Something you know I should know?

By the way....welcome, man!

Just cost, that's it. The zzp is like half the price. Id love to see some comparisons before the two performance wise.

Make your own exhaust with the walmart special mufflers. j/k If I wasn't such a cheap bastard I would get the Vibrant combo as well.

i've heard a lot of people liking the zzp combo  tuning *could* help you out after that's done, but i'm not sure how much. for the new pulley, though, definitely get tuned.
i'm curious why you're having somebody make you a pulley instead of buying one that's out there? i mean a lot of RL guys are already using 2.8, 2.7... you just don't wanna go w/ one of those? need the .05 half step?

The nherbst454 pulley is, I believe, $10 cheaper & I think it looks better than most.

Zactly! I think nherbst454 was the one that said the 2.85 is the smallest anyone with Stage 2 should do before IDC is maxed out. I really don't want to dabble on the dark side and go into 60lb/hr territory. 2.8 exceeds the limits from what I hear and 2.9 is a waste of time if I have a 3.0 already.
