[GM Delta] How-To: Paint Fog Light Trim

Ever since I have owned the rl my fog light bezel trim and also the trim which is in the front of the bumper has been faded from black to that nasty greyish color. Every time I looked at the car I noticed it and it drove me nuts. So I decided to try something:

I purchased two cans of: Plasti Dip, this stuff is to come by in he states but here in canada it has been removed off shelves and the states will not send it over the border. But.. its good to have friends :) Anyways this stuff is used to coat tools, plastic, you name it and it will work. You can spray it on whatever your want and if it doesnt turn out right you can peel it back off and start over. I bought it originally to paint the front bumper on my lancer gts to make the evo look..but I havent got around to it yet. Anyways.

First I taped off all around the trim and the fog lights with just plain green painters tape.

I than papered off my front end so that no over spray would get on the car.. but like I said this stuff will peel off if needed to be. It is tough and stays on well but can be removed if wanted.

I sprayed even coats on all the parts including the side vent plastic pieces, I let it sit for 30 mins to dry before putting another coat on. In total I did 4 coats.

Since this is a test I want to see how they hold up.

In the end it turned over pretty decent. I will take some more pictures in the day time if anyone wishes to see them then.
