Hmm... do you know if their kits work on motorcycles? Mine has an H3 bulb, but it'll need to be vibration resistant.

Only if it's BiXenon bulbs and not halogen highs. I'll pm you pics of my setup. I know they all look relatively the same. If your friend says it's BiXenon and WILL connect with no major mods to do so, I'm in for a pair of bulbs fo sho!

Looks like I'm already added. 6000K. I prefer the true white, don't like the 8000K because of the blue introduction.

Double beam has Hi/Lo on them, thats why they are more and single beam is only Lo. Yes these are plug and play.

help a newbie out - what's the difference between slim and regular ballasts...performance or what? And as far as pricing - do the "kits" include bulbs, or is it bulbs + kits?

Last one: How long do these bulbs last in comparison to regular bulbs...?

Dude HID's are a world ahead of regular halogen bulbs. 3 times brighter light spectrum, 10 times longer life. HID's don't have filaments to burn out. Slim and regular refers to the height profile of the ballast. There is a square metal housing type ballast that acts like a step-up transformer to convert 12 volt DC to 20,000 volt DC. That's enough power to make the arc ignite the Xenon gas in the light tube. If you buy the kit it's complete. The bulb only option is for guys like me who already have a ballast but want to upgrade our lights. When I bought mine I got Xenon low beams and Halogen high beams. I hate them since my highs look worse than my lows. So I'ma gonna buy his bulbs only when this deal happens. Any more questions just ask.

thanks for the info...what's involved install-wise? Have to find a home for the ballast - I'm guessing everything else fits into the existing headlight assemblies? Anything else?

I'll probably get in on this when it goes down - I can't put my name on the list at this point, b/c I have to take care of a couple other things first, but I'll keep an eye out on this one for sure...

This is where I put my ballasts. The silver box below the headlight housing is the one. I mounted the mount bracket directly to the front frame bracket. You might need a smaller than normal drill. I just happen to have a small air drill so I could get in there real easy. Two or three screws is all there is to hold the bracket on. Mount the ballast in the bracket, plug the factory headlight harness in to the ballast with an adapter harness and then hook the new light assembly to the other plug on the ballast and insert the light into the housing. Ours uses a 9007 socket. It was surprisingly easy to do.

Not yet. I just got a good camera and haven't had the opportunity to get some. My other camera keeps adjusting for the intense light and the car disappears in the photo. All you see are two intense light spots. I'm trying to learn how to adjust this new camera to get a good night shot.
