Enjoy - the book in PDF form. Arguably one of the best resources for learning about boost & engines.

the posting is the easy part, i meant complicated as in there's lots of stuff to fill out, and then there's all this mods you have on the forum itself ... some of the stuff its awesome but others is like..why would anyone spend time doing this?

there are dozens of examples of us using that feature. if you don't like all the mods, don't like all the stuff there is to fill out, you don't have to fill it out. the only thing that's required is at registration the information of your daily driver and your birthdate.
however you, ed, are one of only two people i'm aware of on the site that have customized the style of their profile. if you found this too daunting, then you shouldn't have done it - kind of self-inflicting your complaints, aren't you?
not only the above, but also of the 274 members on the site you are the only two who are actually complaining about the features & options we have here. the others have applauded them.

look man, i'm not trying to start shit here, if i wouldn't have wanted to i wouldn't have filled all that stuff out, and no i wasn't complaining...but you know what, i don't have shit to explain to you man, and i don't care if you are one of the mods or w/e for this forum, you could atleast try to be nicer...yes i admit i was trying to be a dick at first just signing up so i could get that download but later i found some kickass threads, i like what you guys have going here it's overkill (too much time spent on it) but i can see your intentions on it, and i can only respect all the effort, sorry if it seemed i was complaining i really wasn't, take it or leave it, i don't know you, so i couldn't care less

and what i meant by this is "why would you want to spend more time in typing something, if you don't want anyone to see it?" it's just my opinion.

Be calm young grasshopper. BC is also a very easy guy to get along with. He can be misread sometimes. I think you did just that. He's asking for your input as to what YOU feel is so complex because no one has ever complained about anything on here. Maybe we all just deal with it for all he knows. You know the term "the squeaky wheel gets the grease"? Well, you squeaked and he wants to lube you....er....I uh, mean....He wants to see if it's a valid complaint or you just got something to get used to.:blockhead:
I'm certain he meant no insult to you. You just posted in the metal thread that it takes a bit to rile you up. You prefer to just say "w/e man" and walk away as you put it. This don't look like you did that.
By the way, the spoiler bar works primarily for the chumps in the morning crew that like to chat about the previous nite's shows. At first they were revealing shows that people hadn't seen yet and it ruined it for them. So he made that spoiler tag to hide it so the chat can continue for those that want to read on. Others can ignore and move on. Make sense?

oh no i wasn't pissed off, thats why i said i don't have to explain shit lol, i just semi explained myself and said "take it or leave it" haha like i said i couldn't care less, i just felt like he was trying to accuse me of something and trying to make me look stupid. i probably used the wrong terminology, maybe i meant complex instead of complicated idk, i don't find anything wrong with the forum i just think that there's too much stuff, i'm sure with a couple of days of messing with every option everyone will have it down, but i'm a lazy guy haha and that's not really a complaint, i'm just not used to it, but w/e what's done is done fuck it.

cool. You'll come around to like 99.9% of the features and 100% of the members. These guys are cool. Many here have come for slowbalt.net or RLF cuz of the toads on those sites just making it un-fun over there. Too many fanboi's and tools signing up and making it a big mess. The guys here have invested real time in their cars and actually know a thing or two about what they're doing. Not saying there aren't any on those other sites. But, anyway.........
Dig around. You'll get used to it.

thank you, i've recently started deleting most of the forums i didn't use anymore but the only two i'm still in (not counting this) are rx7club.com and gunemdown.net... rx7 club, well self exlanatory, gunemdown.net is more of a local drift network, i'm not into drifting but i use it to keep up with friend's build threads and learn a thing or two about piston engines :)

He's 100% correct. I came over from Redlineforums cause there was so much crap flinging going on. Granted, there's still plenty of good guys there, but I don't have to worry about wading through threads of "What do you think I should put on first? Vinyl graphics, or rims?"
Some of us have stock cars still, but that doesn't mean we're ignorant or not into modding them... :orangehat: I've got big plans for mine down the road!
On-topic, I need to pull this file out again and give it another read.

I'm of the opinion that Redlines should remain stock for quite some time before modding, sans HP Tuners.
These cars can seriously benefit from a good tuning, and damn-near require custom tuning after any modification. A custom tune was the only way I could get rid of my CEL caused by the K&N intake.
