Ok this shit is getting stupid. Everytime i go to the track some kid will come over to me and say, those cobalts are nice but there not fast.
Usually i will just say something stupid right back. But that night i said bet you 50 bucks i can beat you, he agreed and we lined up. He pulls into the waterbox does his 15 second burnout with one wheel. I drive around the water pull up to the staging lights. He stages lights go yellow i launch have the best reaction time i have had in a long time .009.
We take off 60' foot time is 2.2. So i get to the end of the 1/4 run a 14.6.
best run i have had in the cobalt. The kid i was racing ran a 16.8.
So i asked him for my 50 bucks and said what happened waiting for the excuse he tells me he has to much horsepower and spun first and second and then just gave up.
By the way it was a stock gti.

even if it was true that he had too much power, bottom line was your car was set up better and you can actually DRIVE it... first one to the line wins, biatch.
