The other thread was closed, not sure why...but eh

Just wanted to say thanks. As usual their service is top notch.

Not going in to detail but they continue to show why they are a wonderful vendor and why we (DSLSJA) choose them for many things.

The problem lies mostly w/ the idea that the stock tab isnt thick enough to hold this pressure. I wonder if even with an more rugged strut "tab" mount if the pressure on the strut itself would eventually give? i'd love to see some heavy duty mounts on the struts though as these links were great.

Looking at it today it appears that sway bar is ok and that tire and strut where the only thing messed up.

hm i didn't close the other thread - just marked it solved.

edit: found the prob. marking a thread "solved" automagically closes it. disabled that trigger and re-opened the thread. sorry 'bout that.

s'all good. just caught me odd lol

btw - over on rlf a few of us are curious as to the design of the strut mount and and can be done to it and the end link to make these usable for everyone. Id love to get the opinions on this of those over here as well. For those who want to auto x or just like to drive aggressive I think these are a very good addition minus the strut mount issue.

Interesting side note. Your fun fact for the day...

For those who dont know, the redline's come with the FE3 suspension (equal to the Cobalt 2.4) and the Balt SC comes with the FE5. Raineman was over yesterday to help me and their sway bar is 25mm as where ours are 22mm

Saturn = GM's ugly step child once again lol

would seem to me you could swap sways for an even stiffer front end. just need the bushings that go along with it - assuming the shape is the same and stuff.

Well, I'm not sure. i know that the 04 Redline K frame is different than the 05+. Learned the hard way when RiceEater and I tried to put a custom DP on my car a while back.
