...so I'm gonna need some straps.

Now, when I was in the AF, we used these bad-ass ratcheting straps - but where the hell do you get 'em? And, I doubt I need the 10k lb straps that we used, but what capacity SHOULD I be looking for? I mean, the car weighs 3750 lbs and change - and I figure two straps up front, and 2 on the rear.

Any recommendations???

You can get similar straps to the military cargo straps at certain hardware stores. If you got a truck stop around, they might sell them too. I would put one at each corner to play it safe. Never trailered a car myself, but I was flat-bedded once on a tow job and he put chains on all four corners when he did it.

they have both but youy definitely dont need the 10,000 pounders. I would go with the nothing more than 5,000. 4 is all you will need(One on each corner). Make sure to find strong connection points to strap it down to. Just avoid putting majority of your restraint on around/through the suspension components.
