3" Exhaust

All... just ordered my Invidia Catback. When it arrives it will be installed the following weekend and soundclips will follow. And just for the fun of it, I will enter my car into ROTM the following month. Either way, i'm excited. 3" turbo back will sound mighty nice. I'll keep everyone posted.

I can compete with an stock STI now, in a straight line. 5 speed helps that, but thru turns their 6 speed is better cause it can stay in the power band easier. Overall power I'll have a hair less hp than an STI, but a hair more torque, and those are peak numbers, i'm sure with their larger turbo they make better numbers throughout. I'm sure once the gf starts working full time and i'm not paying for everything on my own i'll look into switching out turbos, at least to the STI turbo and get that tuned. She graduates May of next year though... so I better enjoy this exhaust cause its the last performance thing i'll be getting for a while.

Kick ass man. An upgraded nice sounding exhaust makes a car so much more enjoyable to drive. Make sure you get some clips up when you can. Would love to hear it.

From the guy I work with, pro auto-x driver, he said the WRX's class isn't that strong and that he is thinking about buying one to use. The STI/EVO class is really strong though. But i'm sure for local auto-x stuff they do well, some different tires and sway bars and their set. That dial feature is only STI. To be able to change your power distribution would be pretty nuts. I think i'm going to look into dyno'ing sometime soon. When the air temps are cold, but not cold enough to not want to stand outside and get it done, lol.

Yeah, ever since that camera was left in the car on the coldest night of the year it hasn't been acting right. That plus it being 3+ years old doesn't help. It used to take good video :shrug:
