Anyone else have one of these?
ive heard it's the best on the market... anyone know what kind of gains you can get out of em with 2.8", 42's, CAI, Tune?

What'd that run ya?
Gains...minimal...how's the rest of your exhaust setup?
Every little bit counts though...and it definitely won't HURT your numbers.

yeah. exhaust is one of those things that helps a bit, until you get the whole package going. so w/ the intake it'll help to breathe, then opening up the header/dp, but now you have to consider after the dp (unless you already have)

It's stock after the DP... Ill be looking into getting a Thermal setup tho, i love the way it sounds...
i thought about going full Vibrant but goddamn that shit is loud as fuck, sounds good but it's loud as fuck.
The Weapon R header i was looking into made 21.9whp and 21.5wtq on a stock cobalt... why wouldn't the gains for the Vibrant piece be any different?
I believe it was Victoryred06 or somthin like that on CSS.Net that Weapon R tested the header on.

Got a great deal on it through a member on RLF... Vibrant failed to tell him that it wouldn't fit on an 04RL and wouldn't give him his money back so i got it off of him for $575 shipped.

I have a Vibrant header on my 2004. Had no fitment issues at all. I wonder about how that part was made....

I was not aware there were issues with ANY headers between years on the IRL's...what the hell did they change in there that would make any difference?
Cobalt to IRL, I understand...but 04-07 IRL headers should all be the same, no?

To your benefit and luck for being in the right place at the right time! I think it's more of a seat-of-the-apnts thing with a header on this car, unless you do get the entire package. But I've yet to see any numbers on it.

well you can always add a hi-flo res, glass pack, or muffler onto it to quiet it down and not impede the flow (much) so i'd rather have one that's loud but in the right "pitch" because that's much harder to get right.

That full exhaust setup is extremely loud. It's too much for me, personally.

Well I have SMM's so if I can handle that vibe all day I can handle the awesomely loud pipes too. I just don't want loud unless it's to a benefit of more power. No sense in drawing the attention unless there's something to look at.

It goes way past being so loud that it's cool. That setup is flat out annoying. I'd suggest insulating your trunk and back seat to try and dampen the sound. You almost can't turn the radio up enough to drown out the sound on the innerstate. Forget about opening your windows again, btw.
I passed on a killer deal on that setup. I could have bought it for $300. The cat back had been used for 2 weeks and the guy was selling because it was too loud.
