the dyno sucks pulled a 224/199.they had trouble get it to register, but i ran a 14.2 @102 with babying it of the line.due to wheel hop and bald tires.

driver mod is cheap and the most fun by far :rocker:

It costs me $100 to license a car. I haven't tuned a car in a long time though because I'm waiting on getting my car fixed completly and installing my nitrous.

My SPEC clutch was a piece of crap. Because of that, I can't shift out over 5k at anything over 30% gas. If I do the clutch lets go. It's really annoying....

And please don't refer to nitrous as "nos".

That's a pet peeve of mine and most tuners.

Call it anything you want; juice, nitrous, silly spray, anything but "nos".

Spec has lost my business. I'm going Exedy from Bwoody. I talked to those guys yesterday. They even thought to ask how my clutch was going. Smart guys and excellent customer service. Buy everything from them that you can, trust me.

We should get them to do a group buy...I'm probably going exedy as well. Prob get a couple more in on it too!

There is only one to get. That's the Hyper Single clutch. Comes with a new flywheel and all. Bargin priced at slightly over $1000.

I don't if anyone has tested the Centerforce yet....
They have a OEM replacement Exedy clutch that runs ~$250.

I would be game to try the OEM exedy...I might...just for shits and grins.

Tires....depends on the type of driving. I had Kuhmo Ecsta SPT's on my 20's and they tracked pretty good. I have almost 30k miles on my stock pirelli's and they still look great. I'm glad I don't have to replace them because I'd be in your boat, asking about tires.

kdw's are some mean mofo's. ppl also like the goodyear(i think?) f1's. for all-season i was looking at kumho ecsta asx's which got good reviews on tire rack.com

disregard...advertised on Exedy, but can't find anyone actually selling it. Guess I got some insider info that's not public yet (which is why it's INSIDER). Gonna have to get with my source and confirm. :orangehat:

Wish someone would? I have yet to hear of anyone with this on. I barely have 12000 on my stocker. Not time to swap it out yet.

I have 54K on my stock clutch, it slips when I beat on it, but if I treat it correctly I can make it hold all the power my car can hit it with, which is more than most of these cars out there. You have to remember to drive it like its some really agressive clutch, no slipping it at all when driving regularly, and it will hold when you shift hard. Learn to time your shifts/clutch release so there is no bucking when you let it out quickly, if you do that the stock clutch can be made to work for a long time.
