[SOLVED] belt

OK i have 50,000 hard miles on my car.
I do race it just about every Saturday night straight line and road course.
Just starting to feel a little belt slip.
So what is the mileage i should change the belt?
I mean for optimum performance.

That is more of a preventive thing. I'd say its cheap enough to do at this point.

how do you know if the belt is slipping??
run your finger on the inside of your pulley, like if you were to put your finger in the inner loop of the pulley ring while it was turning... and if you get black stuff on your finger it's slipping. that's the way i was told to do it w/ my procharger, anyway. :shrug:
