Now there's a brilliant idea...let's use the planet's most bountiful and RENEWABLE resource rather than oil to run our vehicles and such.
Can you imagine - hold on, we gotta stop to get some more fuel...
...but, we're at a grocery store...
...yeah, they've got PLENTY of bottled water!
I foresee the cost of water rising in the future...
And as a bonus, if you're ever broke down on the side of the road, just stick a straw in your fuel tank for a drink as needed.
Now, if they could figure out a way to get cars to run on urine - that would be tits!

one of my co-workers just researched it on the net and found out:
1) the vid's from 2006
2) as there has been no Nobel prize awarded to it, it's nearly a guarantee that something essential to this was left out of the news footage.
bummer.

A neat idea. I found another site where the car gets 190mpg. (equilevent) Its a hybrid and its runs for $30k or just under. I have the site at home. I'll post it up when I get back.
I thought about trying out the electric motors conversion site, they showed it on TLC. Except the site is just a shell right now.
There is always Tesla motors....those cars are in $100k range.

if i had $100k for a car i WOULD be getting the Tesla roadster (speedster?) whatever that thing is. yup yup. i don't get how big name celebs like diCrapio tout how they're driving a prius, when they could afford a Tesla and use NO gas.
