Please don't list the type of oil that you use as a mod.

I say 240 (248 exactly). I doubt those slotted rotors will give you any more hp:blockhead:

What altitude are you at? That would make a difference, as would ambient air temps.

The setup you have should be capable of 250+ HP under ideal conditions. We'll see...

i say 256whp/243wtq. heat soak is going to be murda.

you don't have $20 to hang out at the track, but you can get dyno tuned - sweet.

I'll be you're Huckleberry and say 248/229 - and you'll be pushing the limits of lean up top...probably around 12:1 - of course a good tuner won't let that happen, which means your power numbers will be sacraficed.

Which bodes the question - who's doing the tuning, and have they done any LSJs?

...and I'm not ruling out blowing up altogether, b/c heat is gonna kill ya - as BC3 said. Going on an abnormally cold day will help you in that respect.

(and he's at about 5600' or so, for whoever asked)

I'm going with 240 simply because of the CAI...the best mod that ever was.
No really, I'm gonna say that you'll likely throw down 246/228.
Oh, is it a catless dp? And good luck with the dyno tune.

I pulled 240/225 with a CAI, stage 2, and mild HPtuning. Nothing else. So there should be a tad bit more power in there if tuned properly.

I'd like to bid $1 Bob.

Seriously though, I voted 250+.

I'd say 240/227

I love my AFR's ~12.3

No clue what altitude does, since I have 0 experience with it. They can run a smaller pulley with 42's and get away with it, which pisses me off. I love being on or near sea level.

you're right - in cooler weather, low 12s probably isn't that bad...but once it warms up, I don't want my AFR any higher than 11.8 - unless I've got the cooling mods to keep things under control.

I honestly don't know about AFRs in relation to altitude either...I'll report back as soon as I pick up that LC-1

I can't figuer this one out. Why do you want a richer AFR when it is hotter outside?

b/c more fuel tends to cause increases in cooling, to an extent...

That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't totally sure.

there's a debate on how beneficial it is vs. the power loss associated with a richer mixture, but I'd much rather deal with slightly cooler cylinder temps and a few less horses than risk catastophic failure b/c I was pushing the AFR limits.
