Thinking about maybe getting this. I want opinions, good or bad. In the pic the wing is on an Ion with the full Razzi body kid. I'm not sure if it would look good on a redline.

Your biased so your opinion doesn't count. :p
Your right on your second point. I was in a hurry and already had the Razzi website up though.

honestly i think it's one of the best compromises of not-rice w/ sport
Here's a 360deg walkaround of the car...

the Razzi wing was my 2nd choice to the RK Sport, for what it's worth.

It kinda reminds me of the Redline they used for the Bonneville speed record... not so much downforce, as much as stability at speed.
Though I'm sure a urethane/fiberglass wing won't give you much downforce anyway.

I think it would look good in combination with an RL body kit, and I agree with you Funky about the Bonneville Ion.
BC: is that a Crown Vic Interceptor parked in front of you? If so, ProCharge it!

Thanks for the input. There is a guy on RLF selling a brand new one for $200 shipped. It's $250 shipped on Razzi.com.

Performance aspects never even entered my mind. This would be strictly for visual enhancement.
I'm swapping trunks to get rid of the aerowing so I'll be wingless with an extra $75 to throw into the mix. Just gotta decide if I want this damned Razzi wing or not.

hm, for that price you might be able to just buy it, set it on the trunk, and see how you like it.

Well I'd then have to pay to have it painted, which I'm sure will be a couple hundred easy. I think I'll go wingless for a while first. I have a habit of impulse buying. If someone else snatches it up, oh well.

I think it sticks out too far, but that's me. I'm partial to the RKsport one.

From some angles I think that too. Anyway, I'm gonna hold off for awhile and just enjoy being topless, errr, I mean wingless.

I do agree that that one sticks out a bit too far for my style. I have the "batwing" which is a smaller, shorter wing that looks just like that though. Here's a couple of pics of mine, and if you want to check it out in person if you're interested in buying one just let me know.

Ha! I had the batwing on my first redline that was totalled. Thanks for the offer though. I wouldn't mind having that one again but they are harder to find.

I COMPLETELY forgot you used to have one of those, lol. There used to be at least 1-2 on ebay every week, and if you really wanted one of those, they should at least be able to get one at the dealer so maybe you could go to New Port Richey saturn and get some deal on it. I really think the razzi wing is just too big and bulky, even though it's roughly the same design. And without the rest of the Razzi kit which seems to make the car a touch longer, I'm not sure how it would look.

Okay, so I'm considering going to the stock low profile spoiler now as well. My question is, if I were to remove the aero wing and put on the low pro spoiler does it cover the same surface area of the trunk? I don't want any of the scrapes/scuffs to be visible. I also posted this question on RLF. Thanks.

Well I just had mantiskungfu on RLF tell me that the low profile wing actually covered more of the trunk than the aero wing. He said when he installed the aero wing he could see part of the outline where the low profile wing used to be.

have at it then...when we measured in my driveway, it didn't appear to conceal the full pedestal footprint. We never physically tried, so I'd go with the info from who's actually done it.
Maybe we weren't meant to measure it right, so that the fate of the RK Sport wing could be realized. :orangehat:
oh, and +1 for using RLF...b/c we all know THEY know there stuff over there.

Just figured someone over there might have done the swap and could tell me. And just to make sure we're on the same page I'm talking about going from the aero wing that I have now to this.....

uhhh...yeah, I'm not one of the RLF goof-balls :blockhead:
...I knew what you were talkin' about - it was the same wing I was looking at picking up from eBay for 200 painted/shipped. I just didn't want to get something that wasn't going to cover up the Aero Wing scratches. And like I said, it worked out for the best b/c I was able to pick up the RKS wing anyway.

Dude on RLF who was selling his Razzi wing ended up keeping it and putting it on his redline. Here's some pics.
