I guess you can't find anyone worth trusting on RLF? I don't blame you...

Sheek has a few tunes that may work. I'm not sure what his mods were at the time though.

thanks guys i found someone off hpt site that has some.. i think he's on RLF as well but he's not on there offen, i asked alpha but he hasn't gotten back to me so idk if he hasn't been on or what

anyway i have found a tune but if you guys have anything useful to look for or tune for tht would be great.. i'm always looking for input

oh and how many posts do i need to get to download the tunes?

I've put a few in the repository. I can put one that I had fine tuned on the dyno. I didn't have a full exhaust, I had a cat-back and the GMPP manifold..

Well while we are at it does anyone have an 07 IRL tune for 2.8 and 42s? I can upload my 07 IRL STGII tune that I had to create since the GM dealers here fail. Any opinions?

Does anyone know where to get a download of HP Tuners to start to learn on before I order mine? From my understanding the software can be installed on multiple computers and the licensing is set with the cable not the software, so this should be legal. Thanks!

Thanks!you can't d/l hpt until after your purchase it and get an acct on their site. unless somebody else gives you their login information which i'm pretty sure is not legal according to HPT's terms of use.

as far as their licensing scheme - i'm not exactly sure what it goes against, i just know it's a gigantic pain in the ass. a week doesn't go by on their forums that somebody doesn't have a licensing issue they need hashed out.

Actually, you need a customer ID and another code for the program to work. You won't get that until you purchase the cable (Standard or Pro version).

Well thanks for the input guys. I was told by someone that the older version of HPT used to be available for download from their website for free. Now, you must buy the software and interface and be logged in to use the program. It makes it hard for someone to learn without first putting down the money.
