I purchased two CGLock (http://www.cg-lock.com) devices off eBay as a way to hold off my need for a harness right now and save myself some money in the process, but still get the results of being kept in place in my seat while racing.
The one thing to keep in mind w/ the CGLock, is that if it doesn't work on your car for whatever reason, you can return it for a full refund - they only ask that you fill out a card that you send back w/ it so they know what make/model it doesn't go with. It works great on my 2004 Ion Quad Coupe.

Their website offers not only great information about the device, but also videos of installation of it as well as reviews by others that have used it. I worked mostly off my knowledge from watching the video and from the installation instructions that come w/ the device to install it.

Below is everything you should get w/ your CGLock.
cg lock
cover clip
bottom grip
allen wrench
2 long screws
2 short screws

The installation instructions were adequate, following them should get you up and running in 5 minutes

About the only advice I can add on top of their instructions is to use the shorter screws during installation vs the larger ones. Beyond that, following the instructions did the trick for me.

Now i didn't take my car out for a spin after installation (it's winter here!) but I can tell you that just from sitting there and tightening it down, it's definitely secure. I liken it to the lapbelts on a commercial jet when you're traveling. Once they lock down, they don't give for anything and, if you were to really tighten them down, they keep you in place. I can already see this improving not only my daily driving, but driving around an AutoX track as well.

Here's a vid outlining how you'd use it during everyday driving and getting in/out of your car

First thoughts:
About the only thing I feel like complaining about w/ the CGLock is that the clip that goes on top has "disable" and "enable" arrows on it, but I'm not seeing them as beneficial or functional. Rather than disabling the CGLock, when the clip is slid in that direction, it tends to pop completely off instead of sliding back just enough for the belt to move freely. I don't know if this is the desired behavior, and you're expected to re-apply the clip when you want the CGLock engaged, but it seems to me that there should be two distinct positions, and then the ability to slide it completely off. I don't see this as too much of an issue, however, as the thumbspring (as i call it) allows you the ability to enagage/disengage the CGLock so you can position it as you like - you just can't disable the CGLock indefinitely.

Enjoy! I'll be posting more thoughts as I drive the car. I installed my other one on the passenger side and will get my reaction from my wife, whom always grabs for the "oh shit" bars as i call them, the next time we're out & about.
