Well basicly i'll post pics in a couple of days,But anyways a couple of weeks ago i helped Curious George customize his headlights and they look awesome.
What George did was put some black in the light to give it a really aggressive look.
Step 1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees and remove all the bulbs from the light
Step 2. get some aluminum foil and fold it over to make about a 8inches wide and a foot or so long sheet
Step 3. put the headlights in the oven for about 15 minutes
Step 4. When you pull the headlights out pop the small plastic tabs and pull on the lens while holding on to the back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok 1..2..3... PULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now it may take a few good pulls but, if the headlight gets cool put it back in the oven for about 5 more minutes
Step 5. with the headlight apart just do what you want to it but if you want to keep the chrome be careful not to touch it with your hands or fingers because the oil in your skin will take off the chrome
Step 6. Now when you're ready to put the headlights back together be sure to slightly put the lens on the headlight now stick the headlight back in the oven for about 10 minutes pull the headlight out and push the headlight together to get a real good seal.for a really good seal repeat the step over about 3-4 times. Other wise you have the risk of letting moisture in the head light and then you'll have to repeat the entire process until you get a proper seal.
Step 7. Viola! you're done now go and enjoy the new custom look of your headlights
When you're done post some pics to show the others your work
