This should be a short thread. Alright I have the K&N intake on the RL.
If I get the LS4 TB with the spacer will I have problems now becasue the intake isn't made for the actual outer diameter?
I know the balts have 3" intake piping, but I'm pretty sure the RLs don't.
Basically will I be wasting the money for this?

NO! get a 3.5" - 2.5" reducer (or whatever size your intake piping is) and install it that way...
Or... you if you can wait i am in the process of designing a 3" CAI system, only thing is, it utilizes the stock airbox... so far the tests have been pretty satisfying...
Not one CEL... we will see what kind numbers i put down with the rest of my mods here soon...
Unfortunately i don't have any numbers before the install, tho i felt a little in the Butt dyno right off the bat and noticed a decrease in temps at speed...

I bet the hptuner scanner would show a difference in airflow though.

Well I will dig this up since it pertains to me and my failure in getting the touchiness out of the LS4TB via tuning. What are the specifics to get this new TB to be a little less touchy.
