Finally, I made the time to replace my brakes. The shop has been so busy and with moving to the new shop i totally forgot about fixing them till they starting sqeuling.
I think they did good 50,000 miles on the stock brakes.
I have road coursed them, drag raced them, abused them just been real mean.
Kinda nice to stop again. lol
If only i would buy performance rotors and pads i may never have to buy them again.

Get the gmpp set...I have been amazed with them ever since I installed them. I'd paint the centers with hi-temp paint first, they like to get rusty.

I have the GMPP rotors with a new set of stock pads. I LOVE THEM!!! I haven't tried a different set of pads with these rotors so I have nothing to compare them to. But I can tell you that the GMPP rotors are def. worth the money.

duh, I just looked and the pads the are the stock ones.
here is the # for the front/rear -22705327/10365723
They run $70 each.....so maybe the hawk or greenstuff will be a cheaper option.

Wow. I had to replace the stock pads at 32k, the rear calipers at 45k, and the stock rotors at 50k.
And at 52k, I think one of my front calipers is going bad. :(
And I don't race. At all.

we used to bend the metal tabs on brake pads so the sqeal would quit. we dont anymore, we destroyed more than a few good rotors that way.

Was going to bend mine till i actualy looked at them and they were at the same level as the metal backing on the pad.
