I have a copy of the GM stage 2 tune for 2007... just wondering if this is a good starting point for a custom tune on a 2005 redline with header, downpipe, cat, 42's and a 2.8...

Can you post it to the downloads section? I want to compare it to mine.
The 07s have the highest timing stock.

Oh, ok, The Balts and RL share the same tunes for each year from what I have seen (someone stop me if I'm incorrect) so a good way to get a better grasp on the 05 tune is to look at all the balts tunes in the 05 year as well. That how I have had to really get to understand the 07 tunes for what I have. The only jumps from stock 07 LSJs to 07 STG II was only injector flowrate, the rev limiter, the max MAF freq to 11k and a change to the high octane tables. Everything thing else stayed the same. If you got mine I used a 07 STGII balt tune to make that one. I still haven't been able to nail down a honest to god 2007 Redline STGII OEM. I hope this helps. :)
