a little tuning help please?!?!

so i finally got my hands on HPT, and its a bit overwhelming at first, but after a couple days messing around im starting to get a grasp on what im doing.

but i was wondering if any of you guys here have HPT, and if so i was hoping you might share a few files with me. Im looking for the latest and greatest stock GM stage 2 tune. I would also like to look at any other modified stage 2 tunes. Im just trying to get somthing to compare, and get some ideas on where to start tweaking... tunes preferably from an RL, i have a few SS tunes already and they are quite a bit different than the stage 2 tune im running.

I sold my HPT setup, but I might still have some tunes on a backup. I'll try to remember to check my other laptop tonight.

The main difference between the RL and SS tunes is the VE table. With a K&N intake, the SS VE table seems to be more accurate.

see thats what was scaring me. i have what is supposidly the "new GM stg 2" tune that i got off the hpt repository, but the VE tables and MAF stuff are WAY different, so i wanted to see some RL tunes before i go playing around with the SS stuff.

Right, b/c the SS uses a different intake setup. Thus, the MAF settings are slightly different, as are the VE settings.

The VE table is just a failover/rationality check for the tune when MAF/MAP fails, so it's not devastating if you screw it up. The only thing you'll really notice from a properly tuned VE table is smoother throttle transition.

Apparently, that's not important to most people, since most people tend to ignore the VE table. It was the first thing I tackled.

Altering the VE table also eliminated the lean/rich codes I was seeing, as well as the P0068 O' Doom.
